France sent a new shipment of aid to the Kurdistan region of Iraq
France announced it was sending a new shipment of humanitarian aid to the province of Arbil in Iraqi Kurdistan. The official French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal told a news briefing on Tuesday that the Fundy region [western France] will send a humanitarian shipment to Arbil consist of blankets, and toiletries, and the director of Crisis Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development French Center will be present to receive the aid, which would be delivered by a member of the Board of Senate Representative of the French territory. Nadal added that humanitarian aid to the region has reached a size until today 5.2 million euros and is divided as follows: 1.5 million euros for the delivery of 100 tons of humanitarian cargo and 3.7 million euros to support humanitarian actors on the ground. Nadal and pointed out that his country will continue to mobilize its efforts to support the displaced population in Iraq by French aid which continues since the visit of Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius to Baghdad and Erbil on the tenth of August Almadi.anthy
