Iraqi Cabinet fails to pass budget
Council of Ministers failed in its special on Thursday night to reach agreement on the final draft of the 2015 budget, said a spokesman for Prime Minister tributary Jabouri said in a statement that the council has made progress in many of the special budget files.
Jabouri added that there is a consensus within the Council of Ministers on the need to reach an agreement on the budget at its next meeting scheduled for Saturday, and sent to the House of Representatives in order to vote before the current legislative session ends, revealed that the new budget did not ignore the decline in oil prices, which depend upon the budget State dramatically.
And demanded the leadership of the coalition of state law, MP Hanan al, Prime Minister General Commander of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi and Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, during a press conference held Thursday in the House of Representatives, regardless salaries and financial dues in arrears for soldiers and elements of the popular crowd, who have not received their salaries for more than two months .
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Finance Housher Zebari announced that the 2015 budget of $ 100 billion which was allocated about 23 percent of its value to the security institutions.
