The law of the National Guard. At the next meeting
Defence Minister Khaled Al-Obeidi, Thursday, that the Cabinet would discuss the next meeting of the National Guard law and possible submission to the House of representatives to read it and approved.
Al-Obeidi said at a press conference held in the Holy City of Karbala, "the Cabinet meeting next week, will discuss the National Guard law for voting within the Council".
Al-Obeidi said that "the Cabinet is working on raising the National Guard law to Parliament at the beginning of the new legislative term, to read and approved".
And Khaled Al-Obeidi, the Defense Minister, arrived earlier in the day Thursday, to Karbala for the security plans for the protection of visitors who flocked to the province to commemorate the ceremony visit of Imam Hussein (as).
The Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi said, in (October 15, 2014), there is a consensus on the formation of the National Guard by all the political blocs.
The Council of Ministers directed, in (9 September 2014), prepared a draft law for the establishment of National Guard troops and volunteers from the crowd in a maximum of two weeks.
