50 companies submit requests to shut down its operations in Dhi Qar

Dhi Qar province, announced that more than 50 local companies have applied to stop work on projects that were referred because of the lack of receipt of financial dues, stressing that it would disrupt the plans developed by the province. The governor of Dhi Qar, Yahya Mohammed Baqir al-Nasseri said that "non-adoption of the budget and lower oil prices disrupted the work of the local government's plans for the implementation of projects, particularly the ongoing and currently being implemented projects," noting that "more than 50 local companies have applied to the province to stop working projects transmitted them. " Naciri added that "the province to have orientations and steps to end those problems through referral of projects to international companies sober manner postpaid paid over five years or reliance on revenues of petrodollars," noting that "the majority of projects stalled due to lack of financial allocations, which impact negatively on the provision of services to citizens.
