BAGHDAD - morning
The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation, on Tuesday, lower inflation for the month of December, the index rose 1 percent, while the annual index rose 1.6 percent.
The official ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in a press statement, that "the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning completed the inflation report for the month of December 2014 on the basis of field data collection on the prices of goods and services components of the consumer basket of selected sample of outlets in all governorates of Iraq." explaining that "these rates are calculated goods and services of food, rent, transportation, communications, health, education and other Iktnyh which include consumer."
"The monthly inflation for the month of December fell by 1 percent due to lower some material prices," adding, "However, the annual inflation for the period from December 2013 until December 2014 rose by 1.6 percent due to rising housing department by 3 percent."
Hindawi pointed out that "the survey which was conducted during the month of December did not include the four provinces because of security conditions are witnessing a Nineveh, Salahuddin, Anbar and Kirkuk."
