Iraqi assurances to foreign companies

new Iraq commitment and passion to secure financial guarantees required by foreign investment companies operating in the country, in a move designed to reassure those companies on entitlements, and encourage them to increase investment activities and raise the level of performance.
This formal confirmation, came during a meeting between Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari, with the head of the company "Shell" oil in Iraq Hans Naikamb. As discussed during the meeting, said company operations, in the fields, Majnoon and West Qurna (1) and the draft South Gas, as well as the subject of the Dutch company benefits.
In another meeting, Zebari discussed with US Secretary of State Assistant Secretary for Energy, financial and economic situation in the country, and the issue of price fluctuations oil in the global market.
The Minister of Finance, assured his visitor, "The government presented to Parliament's budget close to the reality of the current situation, and pressed the overhead and proposed a new income alternatives."
