1/26/2015
ERBIL-Hewler, Kurdistan region ‘Iraq’,— A clarification from Muhammed Salih Amedi, the legal consultant of Ava Welat Company received by Ekurd.net over a lawsuit against Kalegran LTD oil and MOL group for unpaid rent in Iraqi Kurdistan published by Ekurd Daily on January 19. The Ava Welat Company’s statement said: The building that is constructed on the property number (319/24605 Ainkawa Gulan street) belongs to my client (Ava Welat company) and it is currently rented by the (Kalegran Ltd) according to a legal agreement between the two parties. Kalegran has abided by the agreement and has paid the rental fees to my client as agreed. What has been mentioned in the news you have published is anything but true. The news is far from reality. The claims made by Riad consulting are baseless. They aim to manipulate the two parties, Kalegran and Ava Welat. Riad Consulting has faked rental documents and contracts, and has given them to my client (owner of the building). I have made a lawsuit in the court of law against them including the CEO of Riad Consulting. My client has also recorded a lawsuit numbered (207/B/2015) against them because they have taken 600,000 USD for no right reason. The hearing for this case in the court will be conducted on February 17, 2015. Thus, since this issue is related to our company and its legal duties towards the MOL Kalegran Company, we ask you to publish the true version of the story on the same page as the fake news.
