JICA Organizes Symposium on Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) -The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) organized a symposium on the status in Iraq. The symposium was attended by Senior Advisor of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Dr. Thamir Al Ghadhban, who is currently visiting Japan upon an invitation from the Japanese government.
A statement by the Ministry received by AIN cited “The Iraqi Ambassador to Japan, Alaa Al Hashimi, called for, during his statement, a bigger participation by the Japanese firms in the construction of Iraq, praising the important role played by JICA in Iraq.”
“A big number of Japanese businessmen and major firms attended the symposium,” the statement concluded.
