Assigning a government commission to study the draft oil and gas law

He pointed out that "the enactment of the oil and gas law consistent with the Iraqi constitution will be insufficient to settle all disputes between Baghdad and Erbil and oil provinces."
He Sadoun that "meetings between Kurdish officials and officials of the federal government on the agreement on the mechanisms for resolving the threads between the two parties will have the greatest impact to create an atmosphere of harmony and tender in support of the federal government."
Over the past years, several drafts of the law put on them but the differences between Baghdad and Erbil have prevented the enactment of the law.
The federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government and last month reached an agreement on the export of oil and the budget after a bitter struggle.
