PM Al-Abadi Receives German Ambassador
Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received the German Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Ekkehard Brose, at his office on Wednesday. The meeting discussed means of promoting bilateral relations especially security, training and armament cooperation in addition to the economic, trade and investment fields.
H.E. mentioned that Iraq is looking forward to a promising future in spite of the current financial hardships which should not affect our security forces n their fight against Da’esh.
The meeting also discussed the preparations for the visit of Dr. Al-Abadi to Germany and his expected meeting with the German Chancellor H.E. Angela Merkel and other German officials on the margins of Munich Security Conference which is to be held next Saturday.
