There's no denying Iraq has a long uphill road to travel. It's obvious to anyone watching Iraq that Abadi and the new government was very likely it's salvation from insolvency.

So long as allies such as Kuwait deferring reparations and the global economic community supporting investment in Iraq continue, I believe Iraq will emerge from their challenges victorious.

Similar to driving in fog, we can't see too far down the road regarding Iraq's economic recovery but we learn as events take place. Let's watch the impact of the central bank decreasing auctions. Let's remember the long list of countries that have committed to supporting Iraq economically and let's watch this new government (a relatively new democracy by the way) continue to resuscitate it's homeland.
