Parliamentary oil requesting host counterpart in Kurdistan

He said in the Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives member of the committee submitted a request to the Presidency to host its counterpart in the province of Kurdistan Parliament to discuss the latest developments in the oil agreement signed between Baghdad and Erbil.
He adds MP Awad al-Awadi, in an interview with Radio Free Iraq that the demand included hosting representatives from the governments of the center and the region as well as members of the Committee on Energy in the regional parliament to follow up on the implementation of the decisions of the oil agreement Judge export of 500 000 barrels per day of oil fields and through the pipeline in Kurdistan.
Awadi pointed to the existence of challenges that hinder the application of the provisions of this Convention, including the failure to reach an agreement between the governments of Baghdad and Erbil concerning payment of salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region.
For its part, the MP said the Kurdistan Alliance Pervan sireniform that the provincial government welcomes any step that will do this Convention, adding that technical reasons prevented the application of the Convention so far. Denied sireniform to be the oldest of the Kurdistan region to export quantities of oil outside the oil agreement.
The federal government signed an earlier agreement with the Kurdistan region of Iraq to export oil in exchange for the payment of financial dues region, but that the agreement is still stalled for reasons of technical and political issues.
