Budget Transparency: Entrance For Good Governance
Iraqi Institute for Economic Reform in collaboration with my organization (USAID & Mercy Corps) and a workshop with the title "the transparency of the budget: the entrance of good governance" and that at exactly ten o'clock in the morning on Saturday, 04/04/2015 at the Baghdad Hotel - Tigris Hall, The aim of this workshop to define the audience on the importance of transparency, especially budget transparency (federal and local) as the entrance to the application of the rest of the vocabulary of good governance and the importance of adopting transparency in the preparation and implementation of federal and local balancing Among the most prominent is covered in the workshop economic cost, politics and social incurred by Iraq as a result of the lack of transparency and its effects on the application of the vocabulary of good governance .
The workshop was attended by representatives from the executive and legislative experts and local organizations, international organizations and Alakadmeon and media of different sides.
