A source at the Interior Ministry, said Thursday, "The IED laid down a civilian car belonging to an officer in the Ministry of the Interior with the rank of lieutenant exploded at noon today, in the Yarmouk area west of Baghdad, which resulted in his death on the spot." The source, who asked not to be named, said: "security force rushed to the scene and transported the victim's body to the forensic medicine department, while opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and the party that stands behind it.
