Parliamentary culture: the draft law to change the Republican Eagle to the winged bull

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: revealed Chairman of the Committee for Culture, Media representative, Maysoon al, Thursday, about the existence of a draft law submitted by some members of the House of Representatives to change the logo of the Iraqi state, Republican Eagle to the winged bull or Jawad Salim logo for 59 years.
Damluji said for "tomorrow's Press," that "there are several proposals submitted to the Committee to change the logo of the Iraqi state after the recent Federal Court decision which granted freedom to the House of Representatives legislation of laws."
She added that "the draft law submitted by some members to change the Iraqi state motto, Republican Eagle to the winged bull or Jawad Salim slogan for the year 59," pointing out that "the Commission will go the draft law within the Committee for discussion and if it was welcomed we will present to the House of Representatives for a vote."
Said Salim Abdullah al-Jubouri, head of the House of Representatives, giving the Federal Court the right of the House to propose laws and legislation.
