Iraq participates in a regional workshop on reducing trade costs

Amman / Nina / Iraq participated in a workshop organized by the Islamic Development Bank Group in the Jordanian capital Amman on WTO trade aid under the slogan / mass reduction of trade and sustainable growth costs.
Iraq was represented in the workshop by Director General of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry of Trade Hashim al-Sudanese and Director-General of WTO Department Tharwat Salman.
The arrangement of the workshop comes in preparation for the Fifth International Conference of the assistance program in the trade sector, which will be held by the World Trade Organization in the Swiss capital at the end of June and includes all members of the international organization.
The workshop addressed the subject of raising awareness and the role of shareholder of the Islamic International Foundation for trade finance, the Islamic Group Bank for Development as a whole in the business aid initiative, and highlighted the experiences and needs of the Arab states and members of the international organization through the review of ways to the overall reduction of the costs of trade and sustainable growth.
