Interior Minister: prepare for the lifting of all checkpoints in Baghdad

(Independent) ... Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Ghabban detect the ministry is ready to lift all the checkpoints in the capital, Baghdad, and stressed the quest to build a military barracks to fight terrorists and outlaws.
Ghabban said during a meeting with a number of media in the officers' club, an Interior Ministry that "the ministry will work within their plans in Baghdad on the lifting of all checkpoints from the streets of the capital and the construction of military barracks in a number of areas of the capital."
Ghabban added that "the content in those barracks forces would be ready to intervene if there is any emergency," pointing to "the existence of 120 thousand representing an element of combat forces and the Interior Ministry will work to fight against terrorists and outside the law." (End)
