Abadi gives a promise to Parliament

It revealed the National Alliance MP Zeinab Sahlani, Thursday, the prime minister Haider al-Abadi promised the presidency of the House of Representatives to attend monthly meetings of the parliament in order to discuss the conditions of the country, calling on politicians to stay away from partisan and sectarian escalation.
Sahlani said that "the prime minister Haider al-Abadi's repeated visits to the parliamentary session is a positive step to open a wider ring reached between the legislative and executive authority," indicating that "al-Abadi promised to attend monthly presidency of the parliament."
She added that "al-Abadi called during his visit to Parliament all Iraqi officials to stay away from personal and partisan interests to stir sectarian strife among the sons of one people", calling for "not to exploit media platform for the purpose of electoral propaganda".
The Abadi attended Tuesday (April 28, 2015), accompanied by Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Ghabban and the commander of joint operations the first team corner student Hgati and the commander of the Baghdad Operations Lt. Gen. Abdul-Amir al-Shammari and a number of security leaders to the parliament building to discuss the security situation
