Finance Committee confirmed that the Iraqi financial reserve exceeds $ 60 billion and 80 tonnes of gold as a support for the currency.
The committee said that the talk about the lack of possibility of the government to pay the employees 'salaries after next June, is part of the propaganda campaign against the government, and showed that employees' salaries amounting to three billion and 400 million dollars, the Finance Committee revealed that it will elaborate the project and the mechanism to fight money laundering and the Central Bank of Iraq will be part of that and called for the improvement of the banking sector to be supportive of the economy, as well as diversify its sources of state revenues
