President of Kurdistan, to meet with US Secretary of Defense and General Dempsey

Khandan - visited the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani and his accompanying delegation on Thursday, the US Defense Department (Pentagon) and met with US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and Chief of Staff of the US Army Gen. Martin Dempsey and Deputy Defense Secretary Assistant Eliza Slotkin. Presidency of the Kurdistan region said in a statement, that Barzani gave at the meeting About situation on the ground for the battle fronts against terrorists "Daash" and wins the Peshmerga forces, thanking the government and people of the United States for military support provided by the Peshmerga forces. US Defense Secretary stressed his country's commitment to military support for the Kurdistan Region and meet the needs of the Peshmerga forces, stressing esteem US government for valor and courage of the Peshmerga forces. The parties expressed their satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the Peshmerga and US troops and the forces of the international coalition to fight "Daash." The two sides also touched on the issue of liberalization of Mosul and the level of cooperation between the Iraqi and coalition forces. The Vice President of the Regional Government attended the meeting Kurdistan and adviser to the UN Security Council to the region and the Peshmerga Minister and Chairman of the Presidium of the region and natural Wizeraltheroat and Minister of Construction and Housing and the Department of Foreign Affairs is responsible for the provincial government and a representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the United States.
