Basra discontinued new sales tax

Twilight News / voice of the Basra Governorate Council during its regular Thursday to halt work the new sales tax imposed within the budget law at border crossing points.
The Chairman of the Committee on Health and the Environment Haidar al-Saadi said in a statement to Twilight News reported that the sales tax imposed on Basra within the budget law on some of the material, noting that the Council of Ministers issued a decision in advance to wait in their application.
He said al-Saadi said that of the imposition of this law on the Basra ports FAQ is unfair against the citizens, surprising that the Ministry of Finance to compel applied exclusively in the southern ports.
