Jaafari Meets US Ambassador To Iraq

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim al-Jaafari reiterated the call for all countries of the world to stand with Iraqi people in its fight against the terrorists in defense of its sovereignty, dignity and territorial integrity and on behalf of the peoples of the world.
Jaafari, during a meeting with the US ambassador in Baghdad, Stuart Jones, called everybody to provide military, humanitarian aid and services to Iraq, which to be up to the challenges faced by, stressing the need to adhere to the agreements signed between the two countries, which would contribute to strengthening the US-Iraqi relations.
Jaafari and Jones also discussed developments in the political and security files and the war against the terrorist gangs of Daash and the conditions of the displaced families and relations between Washington and Baghdad.
The US ambassador stressed his country’s support to the Iraqi government in its war against Daash terrorist gangs, referring to the continuous coordination between the international coalition and Iraqi forces to provide the necessary supplies to help Iraq. / End
