BAGHDAD / NINA / The Kurdistan Security Council adviser Masroor Barzani said the issue of the independence of the province is a right that we are working hard to implement it, but needs to unite the ranks for the all Kurdish groups.
The website of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan quoted Barzani as saying during a television interview that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is struggling, since its inception, to announce the Kurdish state and Kurds people like all other peoples of the world has the right to independence, indicating that the independence of the Kurdistan region will remain the primary concern for KDP.
He called on Kurdish political blocs to make the subject of the independence of the province of Kurdistan as political platform for their work to be able to restore this right to its owners. / End
