Defense Ministry to discuss Carter's visit and the transmission of two F16 to Kurdistan

The Ministry of Defense discussed at a meeting this afternoon with a visit by US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter to the capital Baghdad and his meeting with Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and security leaders at their meeting yesterday.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Civil Naseer Nouri told all of Iraq [where] that "the meeting discussed a visit by US Secretary of Defense yesterday to Iraq, and the issue of transfer of two F16 to Kurdistan. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the security situation in Iraq." The US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter arrived yesterday Baghdad today before heading to Arbil, where he met with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi.
Search and al-Obeidi and his US counterpart joint cooperation in the war on terrorism and the progress of the battles against al Daash. Some of the media have been attributed last Wednesday to the commander of the Air Force team that Anwar Hama Amin led by two F16 are Kurdish flew over the cities of Arbil and Sulaymaniyah "to confirm the share of the Kurdistan region of a deal this aircraft."
But the Defense Ministry denied what was attributed to the commander of the Air Force, "noting that the flights" are for the purposes of routine in order to poll airports and skies of Iraq, Iraq had received in 13 of July of this four aircraft of F16 model, from the American company Lockheed Martin, as the first batch of 36 aircraft had been contracted to buy them since Snoat.anth
