The Oil Ministry said it had exported more than 96 million barrels during the month of July with revenues almost five billion dollars
Where between a spokesman for the Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad, the 'total quantity exported to the month of July amounted to approximately 96,000,245 thousand barrels revenues amounted to nearly four billion and $ 908 million at an average price of $ 50.96 per barrel.'
Jihad said that the preliminary statistical oil exports for the month of July rose for the month of June in spite of stops and lower oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan to record levels.
Between Jihad and that the ministry had hoped to reach unprecedented levels in oil exports for the month of July rate if committed to the Kurdistan region to export quantities that were agreed upon in the 2015 budget, amounting to 550 thousand barrels per day.
Jihad pointed out that the total exports from southern ports amounted to 94,000,982 thousand barrels while the total oil exports from the Turkish port of Ceyhan did not exceed one million and 263 thousand barrels only, indicating, that the South exports export rates achieved record highs at a rate of three million and 64 thousand barrels Daily.
