Kurd Blocs Call To Put Pressure On The Turkish Government PKK

MPs of the Kurdistan Alliance blocs called on the federal government, the Kurdistan region’s government and the international community to put pressure on the Turkish government and the PKK to return to negotiations rather than military conflict.
MP, Zana Saied, at a news conference with a number of MPs from the Kurdistan Alliance on Saturday 1, August, said the Turkish Aviation is continuing its operations aggressive on areas in northern Iraq, and most recently, last night where Zackli villages, of Erbil, were targeted, which led to the killings of nine Iraqi Kurds and wounding 11. ”
She added that “In terms of protecting the Kurds and stop the bloodshed, we condemn these aggressive operations that are in contrary to all international laws’ principles of good neighborliness, at the same time, we call on the governments in Baghdad and Erbil and the international community to put pressure on the Turkish government and the PKK Turkish to return to the negotiating table instead of military conflict, which the civilians pay the price in northern Iraq. / End
