The need to verify the security aspects of the names of candidates for these military grades.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: called high Nassif, deputy Wednesday, to impose personal control by the general commander of the armed forces to the lists of names that will include appointments within the grades that have been allocated to the Ministry of Defense, while confirming the need to verify the security aspects of the candidates for the job.
Nassif said in a statement seen by "obelisk", that "the distribution of grades that have been allocated to the Ministry of Defense mechanism should be subject to direct control by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, which is supposed to form a special committee to check the lists of names of candidates for inclusion appointments."
Nassif stressed "the need to verify the security aspects of the names of candidates for these military grades," attributed the reason to the "sensitivity of the institution under the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through, with the importance of the adoption of the principle of justice in the distribution to the provinces."
The defense minister Khaled al-Obeidi announced, on Tuesday (August 4, 2015), for approval for the release of allocations to ten thousand degrees and careers military, as he emphasized that the Council of Ministers decided to pay the salaries of a full ministry, according to timings and without delay.
