The Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji, Tuesday, for the withdrawal of the resignation of Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari, stressing that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi agreed to it, as he pointed to the existence of "defect" in this procedure. . They said during a panel discussion with a number of media representatives, including Alsumaria TV, "The Civil Service Act gives the employee a maximum period of 30 days to retract his resignation," pointing out that "the Minister of Water Resources submitted a request to withdraw his resignation and al-Abadi agreed to that." He added that "there is no need for the House of Representatives to vote on accepting the resignation," pointing to the existence of "defect in this procedure."
On the other hand, al-Araji pointed out that "there determine how driven campaign against me by the idols of the former regime and sectarians," explaining that "this attack began when I went to Fallujah and you beat the gun, so that gives it a moral motive for the fighters."
