Kurdistan: the existence of preliminary approval to extend the presidency of Barzani for two years

Kurdistan Alliance MP Ashwaq dry stressed that the talks between the Kurdish blocs on Iraqi Kurdistan presidential election is still ongoing.
Dry said in an interview with "direction Press" that the Kurdistan Parliament proposed extending the mandate of the President of Iraqi Kurdistan Massoud Barzani for another two years, pointing to the existence of preliminary approval to this proposal, as opposed to transform the system in Kurdistan from presidential to parliamentary.
It added that this preliminary and unofficial news, indicating that Kurdish blocs will meet soon to decide on the matter officially.
It is said that the Kurdish movement for change revealed, earlier, about the existence of the proposal of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan extend the mandate of the President of Iraqi Kurdistan Massoud Barzani another four years out of the crisis with Kurdistan presidency near the end of his term on 19 August next.
