Ghabban" refers to "35," an officer in custody on charges of financial corruption

A security source in Baghdad on Friday that Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Ghabban ordered the arrest of 35 officers pending investigation against the backdrop of charges of financial corruption.
The source said in an interview, "The Interior Minister Mohammed Ghabban is, this morning, the arrest of 35 officers of the Civil Defence Directorate," noting that "this came against the backdrop of involvement of financial and administrative corruption."
The source, who asked not to be named, said: "The officers are being investigated, as a prelude to display the court."
The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced, in (June 9, 2015), for change and the replacement of 35 senior officers, while these actions showed came in order to inject new blood and processing slack and improve performance and recycling management and leadership positions that went on for a long period.
The Ministry of the Interior, in (July 26, 2015), 123 orders to upgrade the rank of an officer and one retirement at their request, including Under-Minister of the Interior to the rank of major general.
