Iraqis stage massive nationwide demonstrations against corruption
Al Arabiya TV, August 14th: Iraqi sources revealed that [former Iraqi prime minister and recently dismissed vice president] Nouri Maliki has gone to Iran for meetings with Ali Khamenei and Hassan Rouhani.
Maliki’s name is included in a travel-ban list of figures prohibited from leaving Iraq. The Integrity Commission has distributed a list of figures accused of corruption to all airports and border crossings.
