Norway promises to increase support for Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) -Norwegian Foreign Minister Borg Brindh announced on Sunday that Norway government will have provided 20$ million in humanitarian aid to Iraq.
Brindh Borg said during a joint news conference with his Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim al-Jaafari in Baghdad on Sunday, “We stand with Iraq in various fields, in the long run,” In addition to providing military support and humanitarian aid,obligations towards Iraq.”
“According to the decision from Norwegian Parliament Norway government will provide $ 20 million for humanitarian aid in Iraq, including the medical.
Brindh Borg pointed out in his address that Norway will increase its humanitarian aid to Iraq,” persisting “We hope that Iraq remains strong and under one tent.”/End/
