Vice President of the House of Representatives Hamoudi said the Council's determination to take a series of decisions and actions against MPs who slander abuse on the legislative institution and its members without providing evidence and documents. A statement of the Office Hamoudi him as saying while chairing a meeting of the Code of parliamentary behavior we will not allow that the Parliament will be a platform to discredit and smear the House of Representatives and its members and weaken public confidence in it, pointing out that the Council is determined to take a series of decisions and actions against MPs who slander abuse on the legislative institution and its members without providing evidence and documents confirm the validity of their statements. He said the move comes as part of a package of measures be included in the parliamentary adjust behavior that would be required by Parliament not to make any statements contribute to creating a gap between the Council and the citizens and weaken the oversight role of the Legislative Council and to question its credibility without providing evidence and documents of the Code
