Parliamentary Integrity hosted, Governor of the Central Bank on the Keywords and his accompanying delegation
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: Committee discussed the Parliamentary Integrity, Wednesday, with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq on the Keywords anti-foreign currency smuggling ways to circumvent the law mechanism, while touched the audience to the actions that must be taken to deter violation of the regulations and instructions of the Central Bank and the reasons for the reluctance of banks to pay the private banks Baadaat benefits of its customers.
The committee said in a statement that "the parliamentary integrity hosted, Governor of the Central Bank on the Keywords and his accompanying delegation, which includes all of the Director General of the Office to report on money laundering Naim Tohme and assistant general manager of banking surveillance Salman sticks in the presence of Chairman of the Integrity Committee in Parliament MP Talal Khudair Zobaie and a number of House of Representatives Committee members".
The statement added that "the two sides discussed the central bank's fiscal policy and the obligations incumbent on Iraq as a member of the International Monetary Fund, as well as to discuss the fight against foreign currency smuggling ways to circumvent the law mechanism," noting that "those present discussed the actions that must be taken to deter violation of private banks to controls and instructions of the Central Bank and the reasons for the reluctance of banks to pay the dues of Baadaat its customers. "
