Announced the Presidency of the Republic, on Monday, President Fuad Masum endorsement of the labor law, and as pointed out that the law gives broader social guarantees operating under the foundations endorsed by the Constitution, stressed that the law will become effective 90 days after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Said presidential spokesman Khaled Huani in a statement that "the President of the Republic Fuad Masum, honest, today, the labor law," noting that "the new law includes all the principles endorsed by the Constitution on ensuring a decent life for workers and regulate the rights and duties of workers, as well as the organization of the legal relationship between the worker and the employer. "
He Huani, that "the new law gives a broader social guarantees operating under economic and legal foundations endorsed by the Constitution, and adopt the law and international standards to ensure workers' rights and the protection of the right to organize and to eliminate all kinds of forced labor, child labor, equal pay and determine the minimum age for employment." .
