Kuwait signs the construction of oil Zour refinery contracts

Kuwait signed, on Tuesday, the construction of new oil Zour refinery at a cost of 4.87 billion dinars and a refining capacity of 615 thousand barrels per day for decades.
He said Kuwaiti Oil Minister Ali Al-Omair after the signing that Kuwait is determined to move forward in the implementation of development projects in the oil sector, despite falling oil prices.
And it signed the contracts, chief executive of the National Petroleum Company of Kuwait Mohammed Ghazi Al-Mutairi with the representatives of global alliances winning contracts for the refinery.
It may give the refinery, which will be the largest in the Middle East a strong impetus for the Kuwaiti economy, which has slowed in recent years due to political tensions and falling oil prices building.
Al-Mutairi said on Monday that the refinery is expected to start running with the implementation is complete in November in November 2019.
