Former MP Sami al-Askari, Saturday, Saudi Arabia's accession to the four-party alliance has ruled out even in the event of a claim the Iraqi forces to the coalition by joining the Union, while noting that the Union of Forces for refusing an alliance led by Russia because of the presence of Syria and Iran.
Askari said for "Sky Press," that "the Union of Iraqi forces announced its rejection of the Quartet of the alliance, which Russia led because of the presence of Syria and Iran, and this is contrary to their policy pledges, which have a reservation in relations with Iran and stand with the regime in Syria."
"The claim of power to the Union of Saudi Arabia to join the new alliance is unlikely, the fact that Saudi Arabia tend to the international US-led coalition, to topple Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria."
The placed political source revealed earlier for "Sky Press," said a spokesman for the Federation of Iraqi forces deputy Dhafer al-Ani asked to see the Russian ambassador to Iraq, and last refusal.
