Expectations doubled movement of vessels within Iraqi ports during the current year

Revealed General company of Iraqi ports, Ministry of transport by vessel traffic doubled expectations during the final quarter of this year as a result of security improvements in the country in addition to increased trade between Iraq and the countries of the world in the shadow of economic openness and trade, as well as the continuation of the port cleanup operations of the marine alguark navigation channels.
The company said in a statement obtained by the news agency for our economy to improve deep ports in all waterways and docks are continuing on a daily basis by the Marine Department in the company depending on company-owned excavator 12 to allow the entry of ships with larger payloads into Iraqi ports, in addition to facilitating maritime traffic in the Shatt al-Arab waterway for commercial vessels and oil carriers back and forth.
The statement said that at the direction of Transport Minister Baqir Jabr Al-Zubaidi of the need to clean up the Shatt al-Arab by lifting alguark and coordination with Basra province, the Department of marine salvage company recovered 156 mired in different types and sizes of its basin, 15 have been recovered (Anton) from different regions in the Shatt al-Arab waltnomh by crane (hamrin), as well as lifting fuel tanker (Dolphin) submerged in front of Pier (Mitsubishi) in the port of Khor Al-Zubair by crane (ABA dharr).
