MasterCard appointments take place in the regional administration

MasterCard announced a series of appointments to the management team for the region and Africa will become the appointments take effect as of January 1, 2016. Under the changes Raghu Malhotra, president of MasterCard in the Middle East and Africa has become, instead of Michael Maybach, who became executive director of the products, and will move Michael Maybach to global headquarters of the company in New York City.
Malhotra and responsible for the activities of 39 markets in the Middle East and North Africa, will be responsible for advancing the technical development of the company and increase the value provided to the partners in the MasterCard for the entire region, including Saharan Africa and South Africa. However Maybach upgrade to the position of Executive Director of the products it brings with him extensive international experience from developed and emerging markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, helping to develop products and technologies based on different needs of the markets.Maybach joined MasterCard in 2010, and before that he held several senior positions in Barclays and Citibank.
