Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the Russian Nnaij air strikes against terrorists in Syria, but he pointed out that it is not sufficient to purge the country of them and avert the threat of terrorist attacks on Russia.
This came in a meeting conducted by Putin Friday November 20 with the Russian Defense Ministry leaders across the bridge television at his residence on the outskirts of Moscow.
In a report performed by the Head of State, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian armed forces continue their operation to eliminate the leaders of terrorist organizations and their supporters and interference management systems and the supply of these organizations, in addition to the destruction of military infrastructure and oil to regulate Daash facilities.
Shoigu said the Russian planes carried out 143 sorties a day, while the Russian naval group in the region amounts to 10 ships, including six in the Mediterranean, pointing out that Russian warplanes performance ensures coverage of the Syrian army operations in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib and in the surrounding mountains in Lattakia and in the Palmyra area
