Upon completion of the work, will become a gas plant at al-Fadhli key element in the Master Gas System program in Saudi Arabia, as it will meet the growing domestic demand for energy by expanding the current capacity of 9.3 billion standard cubic feet per day of sales gas in 2015 to 12.2 billion standard cubic feet per day by the year 2021. And it will address Fadhli plant two billion standard cubic feet of non-associated gas in Alhbbah and 500 million standard cubic feet per day of non-associated gas on land and in the concrete.
It expected that this plant produces about 1.5 billion standard cubic feet (1080 Btu / standard cubic feet) of sales gas, and 4000 metric tons per day of sulfur, and 470 million standard cubic feet of gas to feed the cogeneration plant adjacent plant, which will provide the lab needs of energy and steam, and exports about 1100 MW of electric power.
And it will increase gas plants in Wasit and al-Fadhli and debtor of energy non-associated gas processing more than five billion standard cubic feet per day. It will allow more opportunities in Saudi Arabia industries such as steel and aluminum plants, petrochemicals and water plants, power generation and industries of the host value in the field of processing and refining to produce antifreeze desalination, solvents, fuels, and other advanced materials
