Baghdad (NINA) – Member of the National Alliance (State of Law), Adnan al-Saraj, described the accusation made by the leader of Iraqiya Slate, Iyad Allawi, against the Secretary General of Dawa Party, of being, "In the interest of those who want to stop the political process and the government to stop."
In a statement on Friday, June 10, to NINA, Saraj said, "The sharp accusations by Allawi against the Prime Minister's performance and his attempt to shuffle the cards prove that Allawi is living in a deep political crisis."
He added, "There are some blocs, such as the Kurdish Alliance and others accuse Allawi of being responsible for the delay in filling the security ministries' posts."
Saraj went on, "Allaw ought to withdraw his ministers and becomes on the opposition in Parliament instead of using the media to make untrue accusations."
He pointed out, "Before talking about Iran's role, we have to bear in mind the American role that does not allow for an Iranian influence in Iraq.
Saraj went on saying, "Dawa Party works toward entrenching democracy not dictatorship and to make as many achievements as possible."
Earlier, in an address to the Iraqis, Allawi accused the leader of Dawa Party of, "Lying, hypocrisy and fabricating accusation to stay in power."
