{Baghdad} Euphrates News revealed a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee Faleh applicable for a talk going on in the corridors of the House of Representatives to collect signatures in order to reduce the proportion of the financial budget of the Kurdistan region to 12 per cent or 13 per cent instead of 17.
He in effect told the Euphrates {} News Sunday that "the demands of the Kurdistan Alliance to increase their share in the current budget for this year to 25% it is only the pre-emptive strike so they can maintain the 17% allocated to the Kurdistan region every year."
"I think that under the current circumstances, the Kurdistan region and for the past three years, took more than a constitutional entitlement", calling on the Iraqi government and the House of Representatives to "ask the province with the money that exceeds the real maturity."
He said in effect that "the Constitution stipulates that the financial budget should be distributed according to population ratios and the proportion of deprivation."
He says, "can not reach the day when the proportion of population in the province of Kurdistan to the rate of a quarter of the province," noting that "the demand proactively by the province of Kurdistan to forestall the possibility of reducing the rate from the financial budget for this year."
