Barzani's Party Reveals An Initial Agreement With Al-Kazemi Regarding The Region's Oil File

A member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sabah Sobhi, revealed, on Tuesday,
a preliminary agreement between Baghdad and Erbil regarding the oil file.
Sobhi said in a statement to the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party that
"Masrour Barzani (President of Kurdistan) agreed in principle with Al-Kazemi (Iraqi Prime Minister) regarding the oil file." He added,
"Barzani asked the President of the Supreme Judicial Council that their dealings with the region be in accordance with the constitution," noting that
the two parties agreed that
"Baghdad stops its pressure on the oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region, and that the oil operation in the region is a legal process." He pointed out that
"the visit of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government to Baghdad was very positive, and the results of this visit will appear soon." finished/25
