A political source said, on Friday, that preliminary political understandings had been reached on the appointment of three deputies to the President of the Republic, in addition to the existence of an agreement regarding the distribution of ministerial portfolios. The source told "Mawazine News",
"Advanced political understandings regarding the Vice-Presidents of the Republic, as information indicates that
it was agreed to name the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, the head of the Fatah Alliance Hadi al-Amiri, and the head of the Sovereignty Alliance, Khamiser al-Khanjar." The source pointed out that
"the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani will consist of 25 ministers, and
Al-Sudani will present his cabinet formation no later than the end of this month." The source confirmed,
"The Shiite component will get 13 ministries, the Kurds will get 6, and the Sunni component will get 6 ministries as well," noting that
"each component will present 3 candidates for one ministry, and the Sudanese will choose one candidate from them." Ended 29/R77
