ERBIL, Dec. 10 (AKnews) - According to Najeba Najeb a member of the financial committee in Iraqi parliament declared yesterday that Iraq’s budget for 2012 will be $100 billion USD (117,000 billion IQD).
Najeb added the precise 2012 budget for the Kurdistan Regional Government will be 12,500 billion IQD ($11 billion USD), 1,000 billion IQD ($858 million USD) more than last year.
Passing the 2012 budget will depend on Council or Representatives approval.
Representative Shuan Mohammad AKnews: "Straight after receiving notice from the financial committee which explained weaknesses in the KRG budget we will be negotiating to eliminate them in the next year budget."
