U.S. Embassy promises business in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Dec. 13 (AKnews) - The United States allegedly promised to send 22 American
companies for business to Iraq.
Salam al-Qureshi, economic adviser in the Iraqi government, claimed that the U.S.
Embassy in Baghdad had made that promise.
According to Qureshi, four of them are pharmaceutical companies, three of them are
working in the field of education. The others are constructions and industrial
companies.
AKnews contacted the U.S. Embassy for a comment but has not received an answer so far.
