U.S. concern about the political crisis in Iraq
12/20/2011 | (Voice of Iraq) - Radio Sawa, the White House expressed concern about the political crisis that Iraq is going through, especially after the issuance of an arrest warrant for Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi.
The White House spokesman Guy Carney that Washington informed the Iraqi leaders concern in this regard, and urged all political parties to seek to resolve their differences. The Vice President Joe Biden had contacts with Iraqi leaders in this regard, while the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey's efforts to defuse the crisis.
