Baghdad, June 14 (Rn) - the chairman of the House of Representatives of Iraq Osama Nujaifi Tuesday's Council meeting to Thursday next after reading a number of laws which have historically been on the agenda of the meeting.
A member of the House of Representatives for the National Alliance Salman al-Moussawi, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), "The President of the House of Representatives decided to raise the Council meeting to Thursday next after the second reading of the law of the elect, and the second reading of the anti-smoking bill."
Moussawi said that "the meeting saw the first reading to amend the Irrigation Act of Iraq, was raised in the second reading of the draft Convention on the Law of trade and economic cooperation, technical and cultural agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the agenda."
Today's meeting saw the attendance of members of the Iraqi List, which suspended its presence in the first session yesterday to protest the spokesman was beaten by the leader of the rule of law, Kamal-Saadi.
The Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi has alluded to the adoption of the option of holding early legislative elections in case the government has failed to meet the demands of the Iraqi people, within a period of 100 days without achieving positive accomplishment.
