ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: The Kurdish Democratic Party is preparing to receive the regional government at the beginning of the next year, a spokesman said today.

Spokesman Jaffar Ibraheem added that the preparations are underway and the proposed candidate to run the government is Nijirvan Barzani.

He expected that "the new government will have a wider base" in administration.
